When choosing car rental services for the first time, there is a list of things that we at Alfa Rent A Car recommend you to pay attention to. Whether you rent a car at the airport, at the office of the rent a car agency or in any location you choose, there are certain details without which it is better not to set off:

 
     1. Always make sure you are renting from a commercial entity/legal person. Never rent cars from individuals, because you can expose yourself to all kinds of legal damages.
 
     2. Ask the car rental company for the rental contract and the handover-receipt report of the car. Never pay before reading the provisions of the contract.
 
     3. Handing over and picking up the rental car must be done in an area with sufficient light to identify any scratches/damages the car has.
 
     4. Always check the condition of the tires or if they are changed for the appropriate season. Do not forget to inform the car rental agent in advance if you are going to mountainous areas where there may be snow even in the warmer months.
 
     5. Ask if the car rental company has a limit of kilometers imposed per autourism per day. Otherwise, you will find yourself with higher rates or additional fees.
 
     6. Ask the rent a car agent to explain how you should proceed if it is about rental cars in Cluj-Napoca that break down or are involved in a car accident.

      7. Ask to be presented with the main documents of the rental car: Talon, RCA, Rovigneta and CASCO insurance, if applicable.
