The Mladá Boleslav-based manufacturer is officially opening order lists on the Romanian market for the newest electric SUV in its portfolio. Presented for the world premiere in June, the new Škoda Peaq has been a rapid commercial success in Europe, collecting around 8,500 orders in just the first few weeks. With the entry into the assembly line of the main plant in the Czech Republic, the zero-emission SUV is now also available to domestic customers, with a starting price of 49,721 euros (including VAT).
The assembly of the new Peaq model takes place on the production line of the Mladá Boleslav plant. In order to integrate the new vehicle, the body and assembly departments have been modernized with dedicated robotic systems.
The model introduces a new stylistic direction for the brand, defined by the Modern Solid concept:
● Tech Deck Face front grille: Illuminated, glossy black front panel that houses the sensors and radar of the assistance systems.
● Distinctive light signature: The slim optical blocks use adaptive Matrix LED technology.
● Optimized aerodynamics: The door handles are integrated into the body to reduce drag.
● Generous interior space: Offers an airy cabin and a large trunk, plus additional storage space under the front hood (frunk).
● Recharging technology: The 63 kWh battery allows for fast direct current (DC) charging of up to 160 kW, while the large 91 kWh battery allows for ultra-fast charging of up to 199 kW.
The Škoda Peaq range is structured in two equipment levels: Selection (available with both battery variants) and Sportline (reserved exclusively for versions with the large 91 kWh battery).
