Comfort redefined: Electric doors and 4D massage with integrated sound. One year after its world premiere, the Porsche Cayenne Electric — the German brand's most powerful production SUV — benefits from a number of important technological updates and extensive personalization options.
Among the most spectacular new features are the fully electrically operated doors. These can be opened and closed automatically by simply pressing dedicated buttons in the passenger compartment, via the touch controls of the Flow central display or via the Porsche digital key. For added comfort and safety, the doors can close themselves when the driver or passengers fasten their seat belt or press the brake pedal.
The cabin experience is completed by a new 4D massage function, designed to work in synergy with the audio system. The front seats integrate 16 air cushions and 6 sound actuators that transmit the vibrations of the music directly into the seat structure, providing an immersive and deep sensation during journeys.
Technological progress also extends to the area of battery recharging with the launch of the Porsche Wireless Charging system. This option allows the battery to be charged at a power of 11 kW without the use of any cables, simply by parking the car on top of an electromagnetic pad placed on the ground. The pad is resistant to water and low temperatures, and is equipped with intelligent sensors that automatically stop the charging process if it detects the presence of foreign objects.
In terms of aesthetics, the Cayenne Electric officially enters the exclusive Paint to Sample personalization program, through which customers can choose from an extensive palette of 105 different exterior colors. The interior also receives the Extended Package Interior Style, which brings additional trims covered in fine leather, contrasting stitching in Delgada Green and upholstered surfaces in sporty Race-Tex textile.
On the Romanian market, the Porsche Cayenne Electric range consolidates its position in the luxury electric SUV segment, being available in several performance and equipment levels.
The estimated starting price for the entry-level version is around 105,000 – 110,000 euros including VAT. Higher-performance variants, such as the Cayenne Turbo Electric, exceed the 160,000 – 180,000 euros threshold, depending on the customization options selected.
