The Stuttgart-based manufacturer's electric vehicle division is continuing to expand its portfolio by introducing substantial improvements to its family of premium MPVs and passenger vehicles. At the heart of this update is the launch of a new top-of-the-range variant, designed to meet the demands of customers who want superior dynamics, all-wheel drive and a high level of refinement over long distances.
The highlight of the new range is the appearance of the VLE 400 4Matic version, a model that redefines the dynamic capabilities of the segment by adopting a high-performance propulsion system.
● Propulsion system: The vehicle is equipped with two powerful electric motors that develop a total of 421 horsepower, while also offering the advantage of intelligent all-wheel drive (4Matic), ideal for maintaining grip in all weather conditions.
● Dynamics and acceleration: Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in a short time, transforming a generously sized MPV into an extremely agile vehicle.
● Battery and autonomy: Energy is provided by a battery with a generous useful capacity of 115 kWh, which ensures a maximum autonomy of up to 642 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.
● Towing capacity: In addition to efficiency and space, the new version also excels in utility, offering a maximum towing capacity of up to 2.5 tons.
In addition to the top version, Mercedes-Benz has introduced a series of personalization packages and technology options designed to increase the attractiveness of the entire VLE family.
● Advanced Package for the VLE 300: The manufacturer is launching a new additional equipment level dedicated to the basic VLE 300 version. It brings visible aesthetic improvements, including 19-inch alloy wheels finished in black, as well as rear windows with a smoked tint (privacy glass). The company has confirmed that this package will later become available for the new VLE 400 4Matic variant.
● Suspension options: In addition to the advanced air suspension, customers who opt for the VLE 300 model can now also tick the classic comfort suspension on the list, offering a calibrated alternative for a smooth ride on roads with imperfections.
● Fast charging: Power flexibility is complemented by the 22 kW alternating current (AC) charging option, useful for public stations or compatible residential wallboxes.
With the launch of the new specifications, the pricing structure for the Romanian market becomes extremely clear, covering both the volume variants and the new top configuration oriented towards performance and luxury.
Prices for the new VLE 400 4Matic version:
● VLE 400 4Matic (5-seater configuration): It has a starting price of 90,092 euros (including VAT).
