This year's edition of the Bucharest Auto & Accessories Show (SAB) marks an important moment for the domestic and European markets: the official launch of the Chinese brand iCAUR. Represented in Romania by the Auto Italia group, the Asian manufacturer enters the market directly with its top model, the iCAUR V27, a large SUV developed on a REEV (Range Extended Electric Vehicle) architecture.
The new iCAUR V27 stands out with a square, off-road-inspired silhouette that emphasizes imposing proportions and a technical, masculine look. The vehicle is designed to combine urban elegance with real off-road capabilities.
● Exterior dimensions: Length of 4.9 meters and a generous wheelbase of 2.9 meters, which guarantees an airy cabin.
● Off-road capabilities: Ground clearance measures 224 millimeters, and the body structure allows it to cross water fords with a depth of up to 600 mm.
● Visual elements: Vertical front grille, sculpted LED optical blocks and strongly profiled wheel arches, which emphasize the utilitarian character of the car.
Inside, the V27 combines high-quality materials with a highly digitalized atmosphere. Designed for long journeys, the cabin offers a high level of comfort for all passengers.
The control center is structured around two main screens: an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.4-inch central touchscreen for the infotainment system. The system offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, along with over-the-air (OTA) software update capabilities.
The list of comfort features includes:
1. Immersive audio system: 15-speaker configuration for a true-to-life audio experience.
2. Thermal management: Dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats.
3. Glass roof: Double panoramic sunroof that enhances the feeling of space.
4. Active safety: Full package of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
The technical assembly of the new iCAUR V27 uses Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology. In this configuration, the wheels are driven exclusively by electric motors, while a thermal engine works efficiently as a generator to recharge the battery on the go when necessary.
The model uses a battery with a capacity of 34.31 kWh and is offered in two performance versions:
● V27 Classic: Equipped with an electric motor located on the rear axle (RWD), which develops 251 hp. It offers a purely electric range of up to 135 kilometers (in the WLTC cycle).
● V27 Premium: Equipped with two electric motors and all-wheel drive (AWD), delivering a total power of 455 hp and a torque of 505 Nm. This version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.0 seconds, offers an electric range of 130 km (WLTC) and a total combined range of up to 870 kilometers. In addition, the Premium version offers 8 driving modes adapted to various types of terrain.

Pre-orders for the new iCAUR V27 were officially opened at the Bucharest Auto Show, with first deliveries to customers scheduled for the first half of 2027.
